Sold by Public Auction on the 26th September at a price well above reserve, exceeding the sellers expectations by a long way, the Auctioneer said it was the complete textbook auction and Jewel Lin was to be congratulated on her efforts.
Jewel said " in this period of insufficient housing that's available we chose only a 3 week period of marketing to promote the property, this in turn made it more effective for buyers to make a decision in the shortest time, it cuts back on the cost of marketing for the sellers and also gives them an earlier settlement time.
On Auction day which was conducted on site, 7 buyers registered to bid, nearly 40 viewers came to the scene, with fierce competition at the end between two buyers the auctioneer managed to raise the eventual sale price $160,000 over the reserve set by the seller."
This is a record price in the area for a property built over 25 years ago, obviously the seller was most satisfied with the result and has decided to list another property with us.
Jewel added " That it's most important to prepare the house prior to listing, the ability to spend money on any repairs or renovation means the buyer will often exceed their budget when purchasing a home knowing that there will be no extra costs involved.
